Meeting Points
Meeting points is an inquiry into how approaches to connecting with ourselves, our surroundings and each other are evolving in the digital age. It explores how we might reimagine current communication systems through art and technology with a focus on whole-body, multi-sensory experiences.
Meeting Points was developed during February - March 2025 as part of the Watershed Winter residency at Pervasive Media Studio, supported by MyWorld and Arts Council England.
Project updates
Through researching and prototyping, Meeting Points explored what playful, future interfaces of communication could look like and how they might shift away from screens to more tactile, present or shared experiences. Alongside, how and where people will engage with these new systems of connection and what inviting, accessible and playful spaces for these interactions look like.
The project outcomes from the residency were shared through a film screening, panel discussion and Q&A alongside open studios on 28 March 2025.
